7/24/2023 RELEASE 1.0 NOTES:

Almost at the end of the summer, this is the initial release for the Dayton Flyers' 2024 Recruiting Hot Board. As you can see, there are about 10 prospects that stand above everybody else at the current time. There's a heavy emphasis on the shooting guard spot at present, with Kyle Greene Jr. even being able to play on and off the basketball.

From my sources, it appears that the Flyers are prioritizing Trent Noah at the top. He has tremendous versatility, a must in Anthony Grant's system. He's able to shoot from deep, score inside, and rebound. He holds 25 offers at present time, including both Dayton and VCU. It'll be interesting to see how quickly they try to get him on campus for a visit.

A lot of momentum in Dayton right now! Be safe and God Bless America!

The Dayton Women's team plays Rhode Island Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm. This is obviously an extremely important game as it is literally for the regular season Conference Championship. While the Flyers have had difficulty scoring in recent games, the defense has been remarkably good, and has Dayton at 22-4 overall, and 13-1 in the A10. In a game nine days ago at Rhode Island, the Flyers prevailed 47-37 when the Rams played without their second leading scorer and top rebounder .Dez Elmore has now returned to the lineup, and should be an added challenge.. When Dayton played at Rhode Island the Ram fans turned out the largest crowd for a women's game there in many years. I hope a multitude of local Dayton fans will show up to support these Women as they attempt to win their third consecutive regular season championship.

The AD is making a mess of the basketball program (men's and women's), and would be first to go.

Then, the new AD needs to bring in a new coach.

This current AD should absolutely not be hiring the next coach.

NEWS: Vasilije Erceg, a 6'10 skilled Serbian big man by way of Australia, has committed to Dayton in the class of 2023. Erceg averaged 17 points and 8 rebounds per game shooting 50% for 3 in the Adriatic League U19 league.
