1. No personal attacks. This includes, but is not limited to, attacks against our staff, Dayton players and coaches, recruits, mods, this forum and other posters.
2. No cursing. These posts will be deleted. If it’s not allowed to be said on broadcast television, it’s not allowed here.
3. Don’t take our premium information to other sites OR social media. Posters found to be doing this will be blacklisted immediately without the ability to come back.
4. No crude, obscene, racist, sexist or homophobic comments, or pornographic images or videos. This includes materials within a signature file or avatar.
5. If you have a question or a complaint, send us a private message via the tool in the forum (click the envelope in the upper right-hand corner to “start a conversation.”).
You can always alert us to a potential rules violation by clicking on the “report” button at the bottom of any post, and we’ll take a look as quickly as possible.
6. No political discussions, avatars or photos. We realize we are in unprecedented times, and there is frequent intersection of politics and sports right now, but politics are so divisive we aim to steer clear of such discussion.
Reasonable banter is allowed … repeated trolling or flaming, especially politically, will not be. Trolling/flaming can include, but is not limited to, targeting other posters by frequently bringing them up in posts they are not involved in and posting the same negative things over and over again.
7. Be respectful of fellow posters. Report any problems to a moderator.
8. We want this to be a fun, virtual “sports bar” where you can talk Dayton basketball and other sports and other topics with friends. Please label non-Dayton athletics-related topics with an OT (off topic) in the title.
9. Posts offending any of the rules above will be deleted immediately and without warning.
10. Finally, extreme violations can result in an immediate timeout or banning from the site, especially for repeat offenders.
