tough to see us go down yesterday. I felt we gave it our all. Seniors played well. Obviously Charles had a tough game. A couple of shots could have gotten better rolls and it would not have looked so bad. Charles was a good 3 point shooter, a good driver, but needs to develop his midrange game to be a more lethal offensive threat. Still it bothers me to see anybody be too critical of him. He picked us for his transfer, and as best I can tell he gave it his all. I for one am glad he came. He was a heck of a player for us.
Can't help but think of how big Steve would have changed our team. Or even a healthy Cunningham. Hope we get to see the real josh Cunningham next year. He sure deserves it.
This is obviously a changing of the guard at ud. I believe all Dayton fans feel we will be ok, but we need to keep the continuity of Archie Miller for some time longer. He and his family are great. He represents Dayton very well. He fits the city. In a perfect world he settles at Dayton for decades and takes us to new heights for the program. I for one feel confident he will do that if he chooses to stay at Dayton for a long time.
Regarding next year, we will have a whole new look. We will be depending on a lot of young guys to perform. But it sure seems we have excellent talent coming in. All of us r excited to see what kostas can do. Don't recall ever having a player with his skill set. And everyone must be loving reading about mckinleys excellent senior year. Our other recruits all seem to have potentially high ceilings. And we have some talent remaining who will get better. I am glad we have Archie to put the ingredients together to make a great team next year. Thanx to Morgan for being here and we all hope u and your family are happy and will stay a long time. Already looking forward to next season. Best of everything to our graduating seniors.
