It pains me to say it...but...my opinion to every recruit is...if don't want us then we don't want you.

UD is not a 2nd rate school.

Not by my admonition, but we have been publicly acknowledged as the "best fans in the United States" "Most loyal" and "best traveling fans in America". Wow...Not Duke...Not UCLA...Not UNC.........................UD. Google it to see this fact if you don't believe me.................If you can get better than the best...go for it.

Your heart told you that UD was your home. Has the University changed? I tell my adult kids that you can analyze things for a long time (and that's OK) but after analysis you need to make important decisions from your heart. If UD is not in your heart then go to where your heart takes you.

You will come to find that the only lasting thing you really have in any sport are fans. Coaches will come and go but UD fans are always their...through your lifetime...UD fans are tried and true. I still like and follow every sports figure that I admired at every age of my life...go figure...but that's the way it is. To UD fans their players are legends.

With obvious prejudice, I state that it is hard to believe that you could experience anything better than UD.

If your life-course is elsewhere than so be it...but understand clearly what opportunity you will be leaving behind...UD will present you with a home and future unlike anything you could comprehend. If you have the same admiration for UD as we do...you remain most welcome to our proud university formally called The University of Dayton.
