While texting with fellow alums tonight after another horrendous effort from the Flyers, someone brought up an interesting scenario.
Someone brought up that there has been speculation lately that UConn could be moving to the Big 12 or the ACC. Some speculated that it would be only for football, while others say they could be granted full membership to either conference.
Here's where a bunch of "what ifs" come up...UConn leaves the Big East, Grant leaves Dayton, for whatever reason, Luke Murray gets hired as Dayton's next head coach with an understanding that Dayton will take UConn's spot in The Big East.
While many said that this wishful thinking was the result of one to many cocktails, others were like "damn", this sounds good.
Of course, have to see UD present a better product.
