I am hearing Dayton is acting very quickly on Toumani Camara and spoke to him yesterday and have a Zoom setup with him for either today or tomorrow. Yes, the Flyers were very close on him when he was coming out of high school after he made an official visit to campus. When the Flyers met Georgia in Maui, Toumani scored seven points on 3-4 shooting, grabbed two rebounds in just 13 minutes. He averaged 12.8 points and 7.7 rebounds this past season in just over 28 minutes per game. His three-point shooting dipped a bit at UGA, but the Flyers think that it would rise again in their system. From what I am told, the Miami Hurricanes are also putting a fullcourt press on Camara. He finished his last two years of prep school at Chaminade-Madonna College Prep in Hollywood, which is less than an hour north of Miami. I will update this thread as I get more info on Toumani, and again, please keep this info in here.
