Been reading with interest the posts with all the complaints about, offense, rebounding, and recruitment. Has everyone forgotten how much of an impact on these fronts we lost with big Steve's passing away?
Of course our rebounds were worse without that height available. Of course our offense was less than stellar with no true inside/outside threat. KP was asked to pickup the slack again to playing as close to a center as possible when it was not his true position....just like two years ago with a six man rotation. Our recruiting class next year is as close to stellar as we are going to get with our current situation.
And yet our coaching staff still won the league title and got us into the fourth straight NCAA tourney...a first for us. Please let the coaches and players get some credit.
On another note, I am 99% sure from a reliable source inside the school that Archie did meet with Indiana. And why wouldn't he? I would. You have to keep all options open. What does he have to lose meeting with them? And he was already in Indy when Crean got canned.
But that doesn't mean he will take the job and I really hope he decides to stay.
