With all their incompetency the NCAA yesterday passes a regulation now allowing Student athletes the freedom to make money on their likeness along with endorsements, a 180 degree turn to what they just said a few weeks ago.Nobody has any idea what this actually means or if there are limits being set as to how much players will be able to get, taxes, agents being involved, all kinds of different problems that will surely pop up.

Since this involves all the schools that play any sports I don't know how this will affect Dayton going forward.I honestly can't imagine this will impact very many men and even less women as who's going to pay for likeness and endorsements of players nobody ever heard of?

Seems the only sports that matter are some division one football and some top men's basketball programs. Most of the rest nobody watches so nobody's ever heard of the players and division two and three is even worse.

Essentially they're changing this rule for a tiny percentage of the tens of thousands of men and women that play college sports.Even if the opportunity is there most will never benefit from it
