So I just heard of this story about La Salle baseball and thought it worth posting...
This current season is La Salle baseball’s LAST. The school is dropping the sport. However, in one last middle-finger to the school, the team is having one of its best seasons ever. They are currently in 2nd place in the A10 with the regular season winding down this weekend. Below is an article with more details about their situation.
Now to mention UD so I don’t get yelled at for postings about a non-UD team on this message board...
The A10 Baseball Tournament only invites the top 4 teams (not sure if this is typical or due to Corona). Currently, Dayton is sitting as a 3-seed by winning percentage, but could find itself on the outside looking in after this weekend’s season-finale series against GW. Good luck, Flyers, and to a lesser extent, Explorers. Stick it to the man.
