I got questions, hopefully there are some answers out there:
1. Seems like Eric Gaines is no longer in the picture. I don't think we ever heard anything as to why. Would be interesting to hear some kind of feedback. Maybe he just wasn't a fit chemistry wise, maybe something else popped up.
2. With Gaines seemingly out of the picture, the only other PG from the hot list still available is Kam Farris. I haven't seen anything on his IG or Twitter to indicate he's even taken any visits. Not sure if we still have real interest there or not.
3. If no PG signs this fall, do we think we'll see if a diamond in the rough is available come spring, or maybe wait to see if a transfer is available who will be eligible 2021.
4. Malachi Smith for 2021? We've offered. We also seem to have some level of interest in Conor Enright. Multiple coaches follow him on Twitter. Might be nothing, might be something.
5. Keon Ambrose - Do we think we still have a shot? He's got one visit left, to Alabama. He's been complimentary of all his visits so far (didn't see any USC feedback yet). One guru has him 30% to NC State. No idea if that's based on anything real. If Ambrose goes elsewhere, we don't currently seem to have a backup in place. Obinna and Fussell went elsewhere, as did Bayron Matos. PF is likely a concern for 2020, probably moreso than PG.
6. Offers/visits for 21 and 22? Starting to see a number of visits and even commits to other schools for 21. Who do we think we'll try to bring in for officials? What other offers may be forthcoming? UD doesn't seem to offer too early (except Kuminga lol, though Wesley Cardet Jr was also offered early).
Season is pretty close so some of this will drop to backburner once it starts but still important.
