I am an optimist, been telling my son we are going to a Final Four and win a Championship, I still feel that will happen and more convinced after seeing what happen this year. There are Folks who are convinced we will never get to the BIg East and they have data to believe that. I still have zero doubt that it will happen. It’s imperative to Dayton with the Power 5 aggressively trying to keep the small schools out and they are the ones pushing the no sit out transfer rule, that Dayton perform and make it a no brainer. Notre Dame has already announced with the virus they won’t be able to have 7 buy games and others will follow, again pushing the small school futher down. So this rant came after seeing that Gonzaga has scheduled a home and home with Texas. So in the last two weeks they now have convinced Kentucky and Texas to play them and go to Spokane Washington and risk a loss. The Zags have earned this, there Performance the last 20 years is perhaps the best story in sports. It tells me IT CAN BE DONE. We all know we can’t take a step back, it’s more critical than ever before, so we have heard all the reasons why it can’t be done...have to keep winning to get it done.
