Don't know how much you get from beating the 315th ranked team by 40 but that's who they beat last night. Interesting box score as the score was 110-72 yet the starters only scored 48 points. The bench put up over 60 including four of them in double figures,. They had seven hit double figures overall. Even against a bad team playing their third road game in 6 days Gaels had a couple of stats that are scary. Out rebounded P.V. by 25 boards including 18 offensive. One guy had 13 rebounds and another had 11 assists out of 29 they had as a team. Also shot over 80% from the foul line. As I said they did this against one of the worst teams in the country and i'm sure they won't roll over us like that. But you can see this is not a team that you want to face shorthanded like unfortunately we will. Fans on their board know they're taking a big step up in competition Saturday but they're also very aware of the players we're missing and think they should be able to take us. Curious to see how Archie tries to handle the explosive offense St.Mary's has.If we were at full strength I'd say we'd win for sure. Now so many guys who've done little so far will have to have career games that it's going to be rough. If the defense holds them to a low percentage anything's possible. Don't know how the Gaels will react to 13,000 + screaming fans, something they don't see in their conference ever other than maybe Brigham Young.
