Watched the official first rankings of the top 16 teams for the NCAA tourney. Wow. Two Big East teams Nova and X seeded on the number one line Bearcats a two seed and Ohio St. who was picked 12th in the Big Ten are a four seed. In the overall brackets Rhodie was a 5 with no other A Ten teams. Kind of painful to watch as this used to be the fun time of the year seeing where we were looking to be seeded and who we'd be playing. Would certainly say being in the B. East would have changed Dayton's future as they're projecting 6 teams out of ten to make the tournament with two number one seeds at the moment. I have a feeling long as we're in this conference it'll get tougher and tougher to make the dance as at large bids will be more scarce and the A Ten doesn't look like it's going to be getting better anytime soon. Our one decent team this year is losing all it's decent players next year along with the Bonnies losing the two NBA guards they have. No one else looks like a really good team including us. going forward. With the way X UC and Ohio St. look, playing in that all Ohio tourney doesn't appear to be a good idea at the moment.
