Watched the tape of the game twice and a couple of things stood out. They are;

1) Late in the game, Garrett missing the front end of three 1 and 1s was huge. Potentially, he could have scored 6 total points. Even if he were to get 3 of the 6, we would have been in trouble. Big break for us there.

2) The last two games we have given up a lot of 3s to some very good shooters. Should we worry? I have a feeling a lot of it has to do with us being hard to go inside on ( Big Steve, Cooke and now Miller block a lot of shots and also change the trajectory). I think teams are forced to shoot a lot of 3s. Hope I am not reading too much into it but I hope it doesn't become a bad trend.

3) I paid a lot of attention to Charles Cooke after banging his knee. He appeared to be okay running in the second half. Just didn't make his shots. I am not too concerned about him playing Wednesday.

4) KD really changed the trajectory of the final shot. He made a GREAT defensive play.

5) Some of the shots Schoochie made were incredible. Highlight real stuff. He is back and I think him playing less than 30 minutes is helping him to elevate his game back to where it was. Plus Crosby is looking better and better.

6) Miller's defense has really improved. He looked good on both ends of the court. Great to see the freshmen develop. Now we need to get "X" and Mikesell going and we are in business.

Great road win for us. It seems like we caught a couple breaks (Garrett in a mask and their center coming off a concussion protocol). I'll take it as we have not been too lucky the last couple of years. Hopefully, Pollard is back and ready to go against St. Joes. Should be a good one.
