Man what a strange ride it's been in the A Ten this year as a team picked 12th not only wins the A Ten regular season title but ends up ranked at the end of conference play as both Dayton and VCU who have been ranked at some point in the season fail to make it. We were 26 and 27 last week in the two polls but obviously our loss to LaSalle knocked us out of consideration even though we're still getting a few votes. Other than winning the A Ten tournament don't know if a team can have a coming out party as good as Davidson has had and they'll be favorites to win it all this week I'm sure. I'd say their coach wins coach of the year and I'm hearing the Kalinoski kid could get player of the year which would be a shame for Sibert who also is up for the award.
