Looking at the stats D.D. is still the best three point shooter in the league based on percentage, plays about 20 minutes a game and yet only takes two three point shots a game, far less than other three point shooters in the league. Why isn't he getting 5-6 shots a game minimum? He plays half the game why so reluctant to shoot? I don't understand why Archie isn't telling him if he's open to shoot or setting plays to get him open.He should easily average double figures instead of 5-6 that he averages now.We know he can score as we've seen on occasion but he should be putting up more shot attempts as the number one shooter in the country from the arc.I watched two or three guys on Davidson shoot at will and they're not the shooter that Darrel is and yet he only puts up three shots on a night we needed someone hitting from outside. Saturday we face another good three point shooting team in Richmond and we can't afford to be outshot like against Davidson so hopefully he gets the green light and goes to town not only against the spiders but from now on.
