Crosby's return official

Idk about that. I've now heard rumors (yes only rumors) from a few that he was skipping classes after the NCAAs.

Maybe he was. That doesn't mean he didn't finish strong. I am not John. I am not one of the coaches or support staff. I have no clue what is going on. I'm not going to think Grant is lying just for no reason. He would have just said nothing if it was something bad. BTW, I would have been running 24/7 if I was on a team while in college with the amount of classes I skipped my first 2 years ;).

It is reality. The only way to change it is for John to play better. I know some don't like hearing the truth when it isn't positive, but the fact is he has not been good for 2 years. He has talent. We all know it. There is a reason he was recruited the way he was out of prep school. We have seen him do some good things. The reasons he hasn't played well don't matter. He needs to show it on the court starting next year.

Agree RD. He has talent. He has not played to his capability. I think he can get better and I think he can be productive. But what I think means diddly, he just needs to do it.

Agreed, only producing on the court is what it is always about. My take about possibly why he left, is that there are too many outside sources in these kids ears, telling them what is good for them, when maybe the best thing is there right in front of you. This kid has always appeared to be a team guy, never sat and pouted about PT. If Grant wants him back that's fine with me.

Crosby taking some clear swipes at Archie in this article...I wonder how much more went on behind closed doors between those two that the media didn't see. Archie was always pretty supportive and "business-like" in the press but it sounds like that may not have been the case outside of that...water under the bridge at this point I suppose

Yeah. Great article. It's so nice to actually understand what went on behind the scenes. I wouldn't say that crosby took swipes at Archie. I buy what he's saying. Archie is pretty business like. And I could picture him not being that interested in having deep convos about people's feelings. Grant seems like he's more personable and more of a father figure/mentor. I'm rooting for crosby. We don't need him to be a superstar. Just protect the ball, get others involved, play good defense. If he keeps hitting open threes at the clip he was shooting, that's gravy.

Be reliable. Nothing flashy. My only request: lower that dribble!
