Let me start by saying I expect us to improve. Archie always has us improve, but there are some things we are doing, or aren't doing, that really concerns me.
Turnovers/Offense - We are standing still way too much in our half court offense and we are really weak with the ball.
3 Point defense - I don't know the numbers, but we have to be near the bottom in 3 point defense in the country. We stand with our hands down WAY too much.
Playing with a lead - We completely stop playing when we are up 8-14 points.
Darrell - He has been horrible. Turning the ball over, not making 3's (not really coming close), and not playing defense at all.
Pollard - Trying way too much on offense. He does a few things really well and he needs to stick to them.
We are obviously a good team, but there are some things that really concern me, especially when we get into A10 play. A lot of A10 teams are playing really well and can really shoot. Our weakeness on defense.
Finally, Archie needs to settle on combinations and quick. He is letting certain guys stay in while they continue to play bad. And PLEASE yell at the players to call a timeout before our 16 point lead is down to 1 or worse.
