I don't know that we can call him Baby much longer. He is growing up as a player before our eyes. If there is any question as to what our coaching staff can do to make a player better he is a good example and of course he deserves credit too. He is a much improved basketball player compared to a year ago. He has made significant improvements in the following areas:
1: Defense- vastly improved
2: Rebounding is better
3: Attacking the basket in normal flow of offense...not settling for 3
4: Getting out on fast break
Just not the same player he was last year. Sure he still needs to improve on some of his lazy passes and his ball handling but folks if our current freshman and transfer make the same strides as Baby D for next year?
Top that off with he is starting to get his stroke again on the 3's. Let's hope he is because we are going to need it down the stretch and into NCAA!
