I am not sure if this belongs here but it is past stats for this years players. The stats are previous efficiency points per minute presented in a different manner.
Ryan Mikesell – Ryan’s e/min performance over his first 3 seasons were Fr - 0.466, So – 0.368 and Jr – 0.459. He ranked 5th among Freshman since 03, 18th among Sophomores and 8th among Juniors. Overall, his Junior year was 29th out of 168 player seasons. His sophomore season was hurt by injury. In his Junior year, he was asked to do much more than what he did in his freshman year. In his Junior year, he started hot but found the going tougher after the 8th game. To me, it seemed he was getting more defensive attention after that or maybe was dinged up.
Trey Landers – Trey started hot as a freshman but was well rested playing only 52 minutes. His e/min that year was 0.63. His numbers dropped to 0.497 as a sophomore and dropped again to 0.441 as a Junior. The drop was greatly influenced by 20% 3 point shooting vs 36.5 as a sophomore. Trey had the third best sophomore year, twelfth best junior year and 35th best overall year. Last year, Trey was the best rebounder at 0.25 rebounds per minute.
Jalen Crutcher – As a freshman, Jalen’s stats were the 15th best overall season for a point guard at 0.340. Overall, it ranked #92. That was the 3rd best freshman PG season behind Brian Roberts and Trent Meachum. His sophomore season saw a 12.4% improvement to 0.382. That ranked as the 11th best PG season and the 2nd best as a sophomore. Overall, the season ranked #61.
Jhery Matos – Jhery had a short year and seemed to be streaky as for stats. Jhery’s e/min was 0.239. That ranked 145th overall and 39th among sophomores.
Dwayne Cohill – Dwayne had a tough time on the offensive side but did well on defense. His e/min was 0.197 ranking 161th overall and 40th among freshman.
Obi Toppin – 1 describes Obi, #1 overall and #1 among freshman with a e/min number of 0.666. Not much else to say about him.
Transfers
Jordy Tshimanga – It looks like Jordy had a tough time at Nebraska with his performance deteriorating for his sophomore year. As a freshman, his e/min was 0.315 dropping to 0.305 as a sophomore. Overall, Jordy would have finished 102th and 107th. He would have been ranked 20th as a freshman and 27th as a sophomore. I don’t know why he dropped but the little I have seen from him, he really seems to be enjoying his time here which should help his play.
Ibi Watson – Ibi played only 83 minutes as a freshman and 136 as a sophomore. His freshman eff/min was 0.145 which would have ranked 166th overall and 44th as a freshman. His sophomore year saw him improve to 0.390, a 169% improvement. That would rank 53rd overall and 11th as a sophomore.
Rodney Chatman – Competition for Jalen. As a freshman, Rodney’s e/min was 0.242 which would have been the 25th best PG season, 34th freshman season and the 144th overall season. His sophomore season saw a 88% improvement to 0.445. That would rank as the #2 PG season and best sophomore PG season. Overall, he would have ranked #44 and the 7th sophomore.
Chase Johnson – Competition for Obi. Chase played 33 minutes as a freshman and 12 as a sophomore. I combined his stats to make one season. His e/min was 0.711 which would rank #1 overall and #1 among either freshman or sophomores. In his time on the floor, he did not take a 3 point shot. His strength was rebounding where he averaged 0.27 rpm. Scoring wasn’t bad at 0.51 ppm but behind Obi. Assists, steals and blocks also were behind Obi. His 83% free throw shooting is impressive.
