I like to watch a game, re-watch it, look at the comments on the board and then make mine.

Here are my thoughts;

1) All that has been said about Schoohie and KD are true. Unreal efforts and results. Enough said.

2) That game may have been the best ( or among the best) I have ever seen by both teams defensively. Un real defense by both UD and VCU. It was so hard for both teams to score--particularly inside.

3) One person that really may have played his best game as a Flyer but was kind of un-noticed because of the superior play of SS and KD is Big Steve. Here we were with Pollard and Pierre in fowl trouble and ultimately both fouled out. Big Steve put in 23 quality minutes, grabbed 8 rebounds and super defense and committed only 2 fouls. He actually totally changed the shot trajectory of the final shot taken by VCU. It missed everything.

Hopefully, this is a good sign of a Freshman finally growing up. Tillman and Alie Cox were studs ( do you believe they are both back next year?) and Big Steve played them very well and significantly contributed to the win. If Pollard doesn't play in the A-10 tournament, Big Steve will have to answer the bell. Since it is now post season, he and the rest of the freshmen are no longer freshmen.

Great game, Steve! Look for more great play in Brooklyn!
