First a disclaimer : I did not want to interject this topic into another existing thread. If appropriate, please move, delete, or whatever.
I am totally frustrated with UD home games having what appears to be 100 people. I respect the Arena and school doing what they need to do to work within the COVID guidelines. But it gets really frustrating seeing or visualizing all those empty seats. I am 100% positive that NOBODY is sitting in the 400s. I would gladly follow any rules to be able to sit by my self, 10 feet away from anyone else, ANYWHERE in the Arena. Would also follow any rules or directions on proper process to enter, navigate to seats, etc.
So Neil's recent letter leads me to ask.... what can us Flyer Faithful do to 'encourage' local and state health agencies to a higher seating capacity?
I will plead ignorance on this topic. Asking those smarter than I if there is any steps that I (we) can take?
My limited understanding is those are appointed positions. But who are their bosses? Is it the Governors' call?
Is there some petition that can be generated? Somewhere to leave phone calls?
Part of me wants to just accept things as is. But another part views this is a just freakin crazy. And I want to actually 'do' something to assist in some change (dare I say improvement). So I just wanted to ask that question.
