I was curious about how well we've been shooting in our 7 game winning stretch and thought i'd look up our team shooting stats compared to the rest of the country. On the season, we sit at #51 in the country in 3 point shooting percentage at 38.1%. UCLA and Weber St. are currently the best two 3 point shooting teams in the country at 42.1%.
But in the last 7 games, i think our ball movement and confidence has bumped it even higher. In the past 7 games, we're shooting 42.2% from three. That's an average that is superior to the season average of every other team in the country. In the last 6 games we're even hotter at 43.35%. Winning's a lot easier when you move the ball and confidently shoot it. Let's keep it rolling. We currently have 7 guys who are shooting 36% or higher. I can't recall ever having that many guys who can hit a three with that kind of regularity.
