Rather than populate the Transfer Portal thread with complaints, maybe a new thread dedicated to the A10 will be therapeutic for all of us. Being a banker and working through the government’s Payroll Protection loan forgiveness program I know I need an outlet.
I was really concerned when I heard that the A10 was considering a 20 game conference schedule under the guise of lack of “inventory” of games for the OOC. This is a load of crap. The programs that fund properly have no issues with filling out their OOC schedules. In fact I would argue that with the P5 going to 20 game conference schedules they is more inventory as they have fewer OOC games. Sure there are difficulties in getting P5 home and home contracts and the P5 is paying more for buy games, but this is not going to go away. Instead of asking schools to invest more in their programs the league management is taking away from UD and the others that are operating at a high level.
