This Dayton team is talented and deep. The most athletic in the conference and other than Bonnie the best team in the conference. Young and inexperienced for sure but last year was an old team that missed the NCAA. Here is what I know and we will see Monday. The staff has a quiet confidence about this group. They play very hard and have good chemistry. We will see the use of the Talent /depth on defense with full court ball pressure , the offense will come as they figure out the pt guard situation. We are really going to like Smith , need him to get his conditioning back for the opener. Camara is the real deal and better than a 3rd team choice. Holmes will start and is a dynamic player who will make an impact right away. Brea and believe It or not Moulaye have had strong camps. Moulaye more than held his own vs WVU. The schedule will make us old an d experienced fast, really well done with 5 games before Orlando, including 2 really tough games with Lipscomb and Peay. The youth will show up on the road but will improve as the year goes on. We have a special group and with the Big East lurking we need to
be good Fast. My Key is Malachi , he is an unselfish pit bull who can run the offence and is fearless and a pest on D. Reminds me of McKinley Wright. Smith and Greer beyond there years. Amzil is unique and a tough guard with his ability to make 3s. There will be some clunkers but this team is Good!
