I made a tweet last night because I've been thinking about Ryan Bass a lot this week with Senior Night being last night. I know it was obviously a tough time for him being told that the history of his head injuries likely ended his career in January.
By all accounts from the players I've talked to and from listening to Archie, he was a great teammate and someone the players enjoyed being around. I wished he would have stuck around, despite the frustration, the hurt, and the feeling of helplessness, to be a part of this special group. I think he would have got a lot out of it and he deserved to be a part of it too. It was his choice, but I can't help but feel if I was him, I would be feeling regret.
