I did trade texts with McKinley Wright, Jordan Pierce, and Jordan Davis yesterday. None of the recruits wanted to get into detail about the conversations they had with Coach Grant, but Pierce did say that some of that is supposed to be covered on Saturday at the announcement. I thought Pierce might be alluding to a release or something like that, but he followed that up by saying we will find out about his future probably in the "next couple of weeks." Pierce said of the conversation with Coach Grant, "I felt it went well."
Jordan Davis didn't say much except for "It went really well."
McKinley Wright said he talked with Coach Grant last night and told me "not sure what I'm doing" which to me may be a good sign. I think he was pretty adamant about not going to Dayton unless Coach Ostrom got the job.
I was not able to link up with the other two yesterday, a message to Naz did not meet a reply.
