Looked at A Ten stats and after three games Fordham is averaging 450 fans a game. Unbelievable for a division one program.A Ten has four teams averaging less than 3,000 fans a game which is another reason I want out of this Mickey Mouse league. Obviously a lot of schools in our league don't give a rats ass about basketball and year after year we're stuck around 7-8th in the country in RPI as a conference and will probably never get much higher. Have to admit I get envious of the Big East who's number two or three in the country RPI wise, have schools that fans actually come to games and has the national champion. I know people will say well you can't do anything about it which is true but I'll always feel we and St. Louis got shafted when the B.East expanded. Saw on their message board some fans saying they want to exchange Georgetown for Dayton. That's something I would be all for. Course as good as they're going there's no reason to add teams so I'd say we're stuck here in the A Ten for the foreseeable future. Don't mean to vent but it ticked me off seeing those attendance figures.
