My initial reaction to this is Fordham does not have a clue. Tom Pecora is good Jay Wright's asst when Jay turned around Hofstra, then Jay goes to Nova and Tom get the HC job there before moving to Fordham.
Fordham's facilities are a joke for A-10 level and NYC college level. Prospects could do better at Hofstra, Iona, Manhattan, Seton Hall before Fordham. And yet, Tom and his staff pulled in kids that could play there.
Pecora will find himself on a bench somewhere next season, unless he chooses to take a year off.
And not sure Fordham finds a better replacement, unless they are going to commit $$$ resources to the program - facilities, etc.
Another thing, Fordham might have a major loss of transfers out as well.
Would Tom have turned it around, probably not. But did a good job with what he had.
