In less than 2 weeks it will become legal for those of us in Ohio to make a bet for our Flyers putting a beat down on the opposition. I'll never become a big time better but I may want to put $10 on the Flyers winning the A-10 or beating SLU. Other than office pools and a single bet in Vegas I haven't done any sports betting which brings me to a couple of questions I have:
1. As I understand there will be 3 ways to bet, in the existing Ohio casinos, kiosks in local restaurants and bars and online apps. Is there any difference in those or is it a matter of convenience?
2. There are a lot of promotions to sign up on the apps now, most which offer something like $100 to the highest I've seen of $700 in account credits. How do these promos work? What is to stop me from signing up for the credits and cashing out shortly afterwards or after a few bets. Or can I just use these credits until I lose it all without risking any of my own money?
