Last night the vball team played X at the Cintas center. Turner Dayton's ace and A-10 player of year went down in the first set with an ankle injury never to return. X jumped all over the ace less UD squad wining set One 25-19 and set two 25-16. Coach Horsman retooled the team and everyone stepped up big time.
Dayton won set three 25-19, fought hard in set four winning 27-25 and won the fifth and deciding set 17-15 winning the match 3-2.
A gutty performance with soph Erhahon getting career hig 18 kills. All in all several players recorded their career highs in kills, digs and aces.
Injury not known but she was able to walk out to center court for coin toss for the fifth set. Probably precautionary as X while an important game was not an A-10 game.
