Looks like there'll be four teams from Ohio in the dance, X UC Ohio St. and Wright St.Going to be tough watching today as we know we're not in any discussion even for an at large bid for the first time in five years.Looking at our record 12-4 at home, not really very good by Dayton's standards and a horrific 2-13 in away games , I don't know if that's going to be a quick fix. I watch as time and again these lesser conferences have teams that constantly win their leagues championship and Dayton hasn't won the A Ten tournaments automatic bid since O.P. coached here, one time in all the years we've been an A Ten member. With everything Dayton seems to have in it's favor why we don't dominate this lousy conference at all is frustrating to put it mildly.Even last year where we won the regular season title we go out in the first game we played in the tournament I watch an X team one we used to compete with here in the A Ten and MCC now a number one seed in the NCAA's and top five team in the country and I question why have they totally passed us in men's basketball. The good Archie years obviously weren't sustainable as the first year he's gone we go right down the toilet. In this day and age you fall off the map of being relevant and you may not get back in the nix at least not quickly. Teams like Pitt and UConn already have let their coaches go one after only two years so A.D.s expect results and leashes are getting shorter. We'll see how long Dayton's patience is with A.G.but big improvement better happen by next year or his seat will be very warm
