Tough to lose these terrific Seniors. Played thru adversity the past 3 years with all that took place. They never played with a full deck and still found a way. They have indeed established Dayton as Program on a National stage. Though we lose those a kids, there is reason to believe we cant go even higher and take that next step. Case in point, Butler lost 3 great seniors and had 6 new players that had not played a minute in the Big East and they are Sweet Sixteen.... Witchita State lost 3 Seniors and 2 NBA guards and where even better this year.. there freshman point guard was terrific on Friday. Gonzaga same thing , huge turnover but a NO 1 seed. X loses there two bigs and then there point guard and another sweet sixteen. These are not blue bloods they are schools like us. This off season will be exciting, a group coming in that seems significantly better than the last two classes and more moves to come. There will be no step back but a move forward. Come next March we will Dance again!!
