Look, we all know what has Put us in this spot. Roster and Injuries. We can disagree all we want about the open Scholly Or Richard and Baker as backup front guys. But we saw it last nite and in the several second half meltdowns we have seen this year . Holmes Played poorly but he was cooked..way to many min. He had no energy on D and got handled by mediocre post players. The boys being out really limits us. I know people fall in love with our length and size, but we have given up 40 and 44 pts in the second half of last 2 games. Sometimes size doesn’t matter.
So let’s get ready for Brooklyn, The Conference stinks, we have 4 games left against Good team, 2 SLU 1 VCU and let’s add perhaps Mason who’s big killed us last year. A loss to any other team left is a really bad loss.
Would like to see the staff put in some small ball….add pressure and run some sets for Brea and Elvis.
Now we have heard 6 times after losses from Grant and the team that it was a GOOD LEARNING EXPERIENCE…..hmmm… the Tos continue as do the second half meltdowns. Getting the depth back will really help, but quick adjustments by the staff need to happen more frequently.
‘Matt and I had a discussion , are we a good team? Other than Va Tech , we have been in games or had great halves. So it’s there. When the boys get back no reason not to win in Brooklyn.
