I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Kendall Pollard a few minutes ago at the LA Fitness down the street from my house in the south burbs of Chicago. He's getting ready to play over in Iceland. He seems like a very fine young man. I thanked him for all he did for Dayton Basketball and the way he represented our university. We all want to win and for the program to ascend, but you realize the most important thing is for our players to graduate, to live positive and successful lives, and to contribute to the lives of others as well. I hope guys like Kendall continue to stay close to the program. The fans will always remember Kendall's vital role in one of the greatest eras of University of Dayton Basketball.
