We started an Obi thread late last year for the POY / NBA draft... I thought Crutcher deserved one as well. His senior season (outside of team success) has been amazing. Here are his career #’s...
110 games, 34.6 mpg, 13.5 ppg, 4.9 apg, 3.5 rpg, FG - 45%, 3 - 38%, FT - 77%
Just to show how special that is, here are Scoochie’s (who was an amazing guard). I’m not sure many of us thought Crutcher would exceed Scoochie when he first arrived.
138 games, 27.9 mpg, 9.3 ppg, 3.6 apg, 2.7 rpg, FG - 43%, 3 - 37%, FT - 72%
Now the NBA comparison that was made recently (w/ Fred Vanfleet).
Fred (at Wichita St):
141 games, 24.6 mpg, 10.2 ppg, 4.5 apg, 3.3 rpg, FG - 43%, 3 - 39%, FT - 81%
Based on career stats, they are very similar. Jalen has a chance to be a solid contributor in the NBA if he continues to work as hard as he has at UD.
