H.O.H has a story about a Wall St. story listing what the top fifty college basketball programs would be worth on the open market if they were for sale. Dayton came in ahead of every Big East and A Ten team at 80 million and # 24. X was 26 at 78 million VCU was the only other ATen school, coming in at 40 and 50 million.Of course the Big East board blows it off as worthless dribble as no way can Dayton be worth more than schools in New York, Philly, Cincy. Claims it's just deluded Dayton fans pitifully trying to show we deserve to be a member. Seeing as it wasn't written by a Dayton supporter don't see where they get that and it wasn't posted by a Dayton fan either. Still a lot of hate over there as some still say Dayton brings nothing to their conference and in fact were never a serious contender for membership. Fact that so many would welcome a school like UConn with football who would bail in a minute if given a P5 invite shows the hypocrisy of a good number of their fans.
