Saw on ESPN this morning that after their loss against BYU last night in their tournament, St. Mary's with 24 wins, ranked in the polls and a 43 RPI has only a 1% chance of making the dance. How does a ranked team get left out of the NCAA's? I know their SOS is not good but nobody in that conference has a good one so some team ranked 8-9th in one of the P5 conferences gets an at large and the Gaels go to the NIT. On another topic the UConn women last night held UC to five points at halftime and now have won 100 straight AAC games. Unbelievable as that is it's only third all time in consecutive conference wins.
