Saw the list of how much schools spent for their basketball programs last year and it's surprising where some of the schools are on the list. Starting with Dayton we were 89th on the list at 5 million a year. Some other rankings were St. Louis at 63 6.4 million VCU at 82 5.6 million X at 81 5.7. Top of the list of course Kentucky at 18 million. Indiana where Archie went was 5th at 12 million. A school like Providence was 38th at 7 million. Don't know what the amounts are spent on.I guess the coaches salary is included in those numbers but what is St. Louis spending that puts them ahead of Dayton.I know most years Dayton is one of the schools showing the biggest profit so maybe we're just thrifty. Still surprised we were that low on the list.
