I remember someone asking Matt about Kyle Ahrens rumors. I feel like I came across a very good source today. I was told that Ahrens will likely red shirt at MSU next season. It sounds unusual, but Izzo really wants him to stay, and they feel they are bringing in a one-and-done type of guy this year in front of him. The following year, they feel that Ahrens will have an opening for playing time.
